HM MEMBRANE FILTER
|

The pore size of membrane
filters is indicated by testing in
three different ways.
For example, Microorganism
sampling (actual filtration for
microorganism), Porosimeter
(measuring changes of air
pressure on filters / air flow)
and Bubble point (pressure
when air emits through a pore
size of a wet filter)

As many fine holes are open, it is suitable to sample microorganism or particles.
A membrane filter has a porous film shape. Unlike filter paper which is formed with meshed fibers, it has a structure
of circular
holes connected to each other.
PTFE membranes are largely divided into four types: PTFE-H (hydrophilic), PTFE-J (thin membranes supported),
PTFE-D (thick membranes supported), and PTFE-T (strong thermal resistance)
(Select a proper filter depending on solvents. Selecting filters is an important factor for successful analysis.)
